What do you think annoys your dog the most? It’s probably not what you expect.
In one of my recent TikToks, I shared the number one thing dogs tell me in animal communication sessions that they don’t like, and it’s such an easy fix.
Most dogs say they don’t want to eat while facing a wall.
When they look up from their bowl, they’re staring at a solid surface, a cabinet, a door, or a blank wall. And they don’t enjoy it.
They’d much rather eat while looking out into the room, seeing you, or even glancing out a window. It helps them feel relaxed and connected, part of the energy of the home.
Try moving your dog’s bowl so they’re not facing a wall. “Float” it a little, maybe near a sliding glass door or open space. You might be amazed at how quickly they seem calmer and happier at mealtime.
The message clearly struck a chord. The video reached over 260,000 views and inspired hundreds of pet parents to share their own stories, and it was even featured in Brobible and ROCK 92.9. Many found that after they moved the bowl, their dogs instantly ate more peacefully or stopped carrying food into other rooms.
Sometimes the smallest change in their environment makes the biggest difference in their happiness.
If you’d like to learn more about what your pet is trying to tell you, I’d be honored to connect through an animal communication session, whether your companion is here or in Spirit.
